‘Textures of days past’ is the Best Overall Short Film” in the inaugural 2015 Roebuck Bay MUD AND SALTWATER SHORT FILM FEST (Sep 2015). Creative and respectful, the short film features Judith Gray, an artist in Broome who draws inspiration from the natural and historical elements of Roebuck Bay and the Kimberley. The aim of the short film festival in Broome is to celebrate Roebuck Bay and encourage community and visitors to admire and take part in protecting the bay’s extraordinary natural, cultural and heritage values. RBWG invites short film entries for the 2016 MUD AND SALTWATER SHORT FILM FEST. If in need of filmmaking help, free workshops will be held early in 2016.
