RBWG commenced a Science on the Broome Coast series, with the first on citizen science using a ‘Coastal Walkabout’ app. “If you spot a turtle on the beach or dolphin in the water, use the app to take a picture or video of it,” said Assoc Professor Lars Bjeder.

“The app automatically notes the time and location before uploading data to a Coastal Walkabout website, where it can be accessed by anyone all over the world.”
