OUR GROUP regularly undertakes research on the migratory shorebirds of Roebuck Bay. These shorebirds breed in the northern hemisphere as far away as Siberia, and spend the remainder of their year here in Roebuck Bay.
The main activity is the capture, banding and release of birds for survival and migration studies. It is a privilege to hold these magnificent travellers in your hand. The work is hot and hard and immensely rewarding!
